Even if you have never stepped on a board, this 1-hour session format is designed to improve your skills as a rider and give you exercises you can implement to enhance your boarding abilities. In order to safely practice this awesome art form, each student is required to show up with an appropriately sized board & helmet (kneepads, elbow pads & wrist guards are strongly encouraged for beginners).

This class focuses on the execution of skateboarding/longboarding fundamentals, not extreme skating or street tricks. Games and activities developing core strength, balance and agility will be a major part of the structure, especially for level 1.

Please note, this class is weather permitting, so if it's raining or the ground is wet, we will not have class. Feel free to call  or text if you are unsure of the weather.

Also, this waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian of students under the age of 18, prior to the start of class. Copies will be available on site.

We will build our own drum sets from everyday items and find new ways to jam.

Purchase a single class or punch card session pack below to sign up.

Digital Beat Making: Screen time can be productive when you are learning how to make music with computers and tablets. In this class, we make music of our own by designing sounds from the ground up as well as using loops to improvise songs structures on-the-fly. This advanced course work will see the students complete an original song in Ableton that will be released on the NY Nuggets Label that will be uploaded to iTunes & Spotify and other major platforms (with 100% of the royalties going directly to the student!)

Improv l & ll (Currently Full) - Join Waiting List
Although the core of this curriculum comes from UCB's "game" theory, many facets of the current improv scene will be explored through short form exercises that will emphasise participation through class discussion.  This class is all about imagination.
